Saint Eudoxia was the daughter of Saint Athanasia and martyred during the persecution of the emperor Diocletian. The Saint was arrested along with her mother and her sisters, Theodote and Theoktiste. The ruler of the region subjected them to horrific torture but these women remained steadfast in their Christian faith.
Saint Eudoxia was martyred by beheading in the year 292 AD. Her memory is honored by the Orthodox Christian Church on January 31 of each year.
